Rabbi Moe Kaprow retired from the US Navy Chaplain Corps with the rank of Commander in February 2010 following a successful 20-year career. A Board Certified Chaplain, he is the process of returning to specialized ministry where he can provide spiritual care to both Jewish and non-Jewish people in the Orlando area. Rabbi Kaprow holds a BA and a BHL from Yeshiva University, an MA from Columbia University, and ordination from Yeshivat Ateret Yaakov. He is also a graduate of the Naval War College, College of Command and Staff. Rabbi Kaprow's military decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (four awards), Navy-Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards), and numerous unit and campaign awards. In 2000, he was designated a Master Training Specialist by the Chief of Naval Education and Training. Rabbi Kaprow resides in Winter Springs, FL with his wife Sheila. He has two sons and five grandchildren.
Rabbi Yaacov Rone has a BA degree from Clark University, an MHL and honorary DHL from the Jewish Theological Seminary. He is a certified chaplain and former certified member of the AAMFT.
Rabbi Rone has served as both a congregational rabbi and chaplain in various locations and institutions since 1971 and was Director of Chaplaincy and Associate Executive VP of the New York Board of Rabbis (1994-97), spending the succeeding years as Executive Director of the Synagogue and Rabbinic Division of North America for State of Israel Bonds until his retirement in 2005. He has been an active member, member of the Board and officer of NAJC since 1994.
Rabbi Rone is married to Nina and they are the proud parents of 6 and grandparents of 7. They reside in Palm Springs, CA and the Berkshire Mountains.
